Previously, online learning was restricted for distant education and virtual universities only. But during COVID-19 pandemic, online education emerged as the only best possible solution in the form of coursework writing services for continuous learning. Now teachers are trying to explore more ways to make online classes more effective. Most students don’t have access to hard copies of books so using the old methodology of teaching from reading and explaining the text from books in their hands is no longer possible. Teachers are searching and using videos for explaining, assigning the students activities to clarify their concepts and web based tests and papers. So in future, we can expect that students will take responsibility for their learning, and will make their learning more personalized.
This will also remove old fashioned education models. Many private and small schools, colleges and universities will either close or merge with other schools, colleges and universities. We will clearly see a big improvement in vision statements of educational institutions with more focus on e-learning and open-source digital learning. Formerly, the main focus of schools was on old-style educational skills and rote learning. But now with the amalgamation of IT in education will be more speeded up. Online education will turn into an essential module of school learning.
Teachers are searching for reliable sources to help curate high-quality online learning tools. This will also improve the teacher's creativity. Due to COVID crises exams in almost all the schools all around the world have been cancelled or postponed. Some institutes have promoted their students without exams and others are striving for online assessment and quizzes for replacing exams during COVID pandemic. If this gets successful, we can expect a significant change in the examination system as well where students have to sit in big halls for 3 hours to attempt the paper. And mostly they are judged on the basis of more bookish knowledge and few conceptual questions.
Challenges:
Besides the large benefits of eLearning, the world has to face many challenges arising from online education. Not all students have access to the internet and electronic devices. This will increase the gap between income classes and cause educational inequity. Bandwidth is also a big problem. Online learning is only effective when complete access to the right technology is available.
